On Saturday, October 15th, 500 people gathered for an escapade in love at the ninth biennial Novel Night celebration to benefit the Rye Free Reading Room. It was a novel-inspired celebration with 11 costumed dinner parties hosted in private Rye homes and a festive gathering at the Mamaroneck Beach & Yacht Club for dessert, dancing, and raffles. Novel Night funds will build collections, underwrite free children's programs, add new technology and other public service initiatives.
